Terms and Conditions
RESERVATIONS
On confirmation of the booking the customer shall pay the Company a deposit of 20% of the total price as quoted.
The balance owing on the invoice must be paid 4 (four) weeks prior to departure.
In the event of any reservation being completed less than 30 (thirty) days prior to departure, the total price is due immediately on confirmation and is non-refundable.
The Company reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which payment has not been made by due date in which event, any deposit paid will be forfeited to the Company.
Documentation is only prepared on receipt of full and final payment and completed booking form and travel declaration.
Confirmation of the booking and payment of the deposit, shall constitute acceptance of the Company's terms and conditions of business.
ACCOMMODATION
Passengers are accommodated in country inns, guest houses, hotels or lodges specially selected for their comfort and charm. All rooms have private facilities unless otherwise stated
TRANSPORTATION
Luxury air-conditioned vehicles with experienced, registered tour guides are used on tour.
LIABILITY
Jumbo Tours acts only in the capacity of Agent for the passengers in all matters relating to accommodation, sight-seeing, transport, whether by aircraft, rail, motor coach, motor car, ship, boat, ferry or any other means and as such hold ourselves free of responsibility or liability for any delays, loss, injury, death or damage from any cause whatsoever
ALTERATIONS TO TOURS
JUMBO TOURS reserves the right to change or cancel any itinerary, accommodation or arrangements should conditions make it necessary. It also reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. No liability of any kind shall fall upon JUMBO TOURS about any such alteration or cancellation
PAYMENT
The Company will accept payment for all land arrangements in CASH ONLY. Payment by TT or EFT or MCO will constitute a cash payment.
The Company reserves the right to charge a booking fee and/or a handling fee which will be included in the total price.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event of the customers cancelling their reservation for any reason, such cancellation must be made in writing and in such instances cancellation charges will be levied as follows:
45 days - 30 days prior to departure: 20% of total price
29 days - 22 days prior to departure: 25% of total price
21 days - 15 days prior to departure: 50% of total price
14 days - 08 days prior to departure: 70% of total price
07 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total price
However Jumbo Tours acts only in the capacity of Agent for the passengers in all matters relating to accommodation and the cancellation fees of individual hotels will be passed on to the passenger /agent
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles. The driver/guide will ensure that sufficient stops are made to enable passengers to take smoke-breaks if requested
